In partnership with Coding 101 and Preface, Hysan hosted a series of workshops combining STEAM skills with placemaking concepts. Our aim was to encourage students to create tailored solutions addressing our community’s evolving needs.
It was a pleasure seeing more than 1,000 secondary and primary students join the programme over three months. With the guidance from course instructors, students were in eager pursuit of exploring various community needs and addressing future challenges. Their ingenuity truly came to life in their designs for community facilities. Ideas ranged from smart trash bins with sensors to innovative sustainable power systems, igniting excitement about how technology and innovative mindsets could transform Lee Gardens.
We look forward to seeing how these young innovators apply their new insights into their future learning!
