Young minds sparked bold visions for Lee Gardens’ future!
We had the opportunity to partner with TramPlus to organise a 3-day intensive programme titled ‘Reimagining the Future of Lee Gardens’. The programme started with a curated tour where 30 secondary students learnt about the Area’s placemaking efforts, from its humble beginning as ‘a hill with two houses’ to becoming one of the world’s most vibrant business hubs today. Students then applied skills from a HKUST year-1 undergraduate engineering course to create 3D models of their vision for Lee Gardens’ future. They put their creativity to work, dreaming up and designing the future of Lee Gardens we have never imagined!
From green spaces to futuristic landscape designs, these young minds shared fresh ideas for our community. For the Lee Gardens of tomorrow, their vision is truly inspiring and encouraging!
